Someone scrubs up well in period tailoring. Looking forward to this, despite horror not being my thing, as I’m a sucker for ‘terrified kids in gothic setting’ stories, and Susan Hill’s novel is a classic. I desperately wish TWB the novel ended differently, while accepting that it fits the genre as is. Consequently very interested to see if the film adaptation sidesteps the payback to be audience friendly or not.
