This is what I loved about circus - the muscular femmes, the physical discipline and experimentation without the macho stuff.

so, this is one of those 101 curries for people who aren&#8217;t really into curries. 
but seeing as how i have a flourishing eggplant plant in my garden, and last week was so rainy and indoors, i made this a few times. practical for stay at home cosy dinners. and it pleased the kids when served with cheese/breads.
also: being lazy, i used only one type of lentil, chucked in some leftover tomatos instead of tomato paste, and skipped the whole veggie broth thing but added the random herbs i had in my garden. Which was okayfinetasty.
